I am so grateful that my journey in the field of dance has seamlessly transitioned and grown from a naïve kid to an artist and now a professional. At an early age of 10, I aspired to be a teacher like my Bharat Natyam teachers at Nalanda University which was eventually realized when I turned 16 as I became a part of Shiamak’s Dance Company. My decade long career there gave me an opportunity to perform and teach worldwide, but most importantly, it gave me the privilege to train with two most incredible ballet teachers, the amazing Amy Myers at Vancouver and the legend, Tushna Dallas. Ballet was a revelation to intricate ways our body can move in every dance form and my mentors taught so patiently, with such love and dedication, I naturally aspired to be a teacher like them! They believed in me when I didn’t. Taking my Inter Foundation Ballet Examination and teaching and training under Tushna at her school of Classical Ballet has been an absolute honor.

As life led me to work independently, film shoots, music videos and choreographing for TV commercials made way, I was home. Meeting some amazing artists on these shoots who wanted to train further led to personal training sessions with them and other aspiring actors as well. My students, in turn, inspired me to continue training which led to traveling to Pineapple Dance Studios(London), Broadway Dance Studios(New York)Millennium Dance Complex LA, EXPG LA, Movement LifeStyle LA.

Constantly learning as I teach, this website is a small compilation of some of my work since 2016
